Overview:

An established and growing fast-food company is looking for a highly motivated and self-structured individual to join their team as an Area Coach/Supervisor. A key aspect for success in this role is being passionate about developing and engaging with managers and staff.

Minimum requirements:

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • 5+ years experience in a similar role / industry
  • Business-related tertiary qualification
  • Own vehicle, with a valid driver's license
  • Proven track record in managing staff well
  • Able to travel extensively

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that the area adheres to the brand standards as well as the standard Operating Procedures inherent to the restaurant business model
  • Grow the area and company from a people, market share, and profit perspective.
  • Increase sales through both organic growth and new site development
  • Increase transaction and ticket count
  • Identify and interpret problem areas in the business and put plans to rectify these
  • Be able to respond to crisis situations and react to this by solving any related problems
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations and any other related legislation
  • Identify and interpret problems within an area and put plans in place to rectify them
  • Assist restaurant managers in determining their needs and plan implementation strategies for achieving their goals and development
  • Scan the area to identify emerging trends that will affect the organisation
