Employer: Msuduka Holdings Position Overview: • Part time available, junior level • This job description focuses on junior levels within the accounting department • Flexible hours (for example: choose to start your day between 6am and 10am, work late some days and shorter on others) • Position does not involve any pestering accounts receivable collection calls • AP: data entry and categorization of receipts • Corresponding with employees in other departments to obtain details of expenses • Employee reimbursement processing, data entry, and being a trusted auditor for reimbursements • Filling out monthly and quarterly reports • Reports to executive level (CFO and COO) • Opportunity for role to expand. The more we trust your accuracy and understanding, the more challenging tasks will be provided • Calculating and performing transfers between various subsidiaries and the parent company • Watching for unexpected monthly fluctuations that management should be made aware of • Researching expected costs for financial forecasting • Conduct tax returns, vat returns…… • Occasionally assisting clerical department • Genuine appreciation for the accuracy you provide which allows management to trust the financial reports • Coordinate and assist external third-party audit firm • Your own office to be comfortable, play music, etc. Responsibilities • Documenting financial transaction details and monitoring the transactions • Preparing and filing financial documents • Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable • Fact-checking accounting data • Reconciling company accounts • Processing payroll and tracking payroll data • Assisting with tax payments and returns • Working with staff accountants as needed Skills • An eye for detail • The ability to meet deadlines • The ability to communicate complex data in a clear way • Exceptional organizational skills • The ability to prioritize projects • Customer service skills • Excellent data entry skills • Payroll accounting skills Qualifications • Matric • Certificate/diploma
