An exciting and highly exclusive role of Business Development Specialist is available in Pretoria, and Cape Town. This is for the Aerospace & Defence Industry. To become eligible for an interview applicants will need to provide their Matric Certificate - must have at least 85% average on their NSC or IEB Certificate. Further than this, applicants will have to be Degree qualified in either of the following: -BEng or BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Electronic & Robotics Engineering etc (not Civil or Chemical Engineering). The ideal person would be someone who: Enjoys travelling and meeting new people and who is willing to travel internationally. Enjoys establishing and growing professional relationships with key individuals; Has a passion for leading developments in the Aerospace&Defence Industry; Has a great mind for problem solving and thinking on their feet; Is able to go above and beyond normal office hours if needed; Takes pride in his appearance at all times. The Business Development Specialist will mainly be responsible for: Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives; Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines; Develop goals for the development team and business growth and ensure they are met; Keep record of sales, revenue, invoices and travel itineraries; Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support; Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction; Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs; Contact potential clients to establish a network and arrange meetings (Foreign and domestic); Identify new markets and improve sales; Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives; Attend conferences, meetings, and industry-related events such as Expo’s, Seminars, Meet&Greets etc.
