Purpose of the Role Maximise sales and margin for your department by sourcing and constructing an appealing product assortment; offering distinctive value, at the best price, aligned to the company strategic objectives Role and Responsibilities • Researching, sourcing and developing products, ensuring the best range offering for our market • Preparing for key strategic meetings such as postmortems, seasonal strategies, laydowns and reviews • Contribute to a strong and dynamic team environment with all members of your team • Current trade analysis is to ensure that the current season trade is executed according to plan and achieve strategic targets and budget, while optimizing current opportunities in trade and managing stock • Meeting required deadlines as per critical path • Maintaining good relationships suppliers and negotiating prices • Keeping abreast of competition by regular visits, company visits and company store visits • Maximise sales and margin for your department by sourcing and constructing an appealing product assortment, offering distinctive value, at the best price, aligned to the company strategic objectives Preferred Qualifications and Experience • Minimum 2 years buying experience • MS Office Efficiency and basic Skills Preferred skills and attributes • Attention to detail and accuracy • Strong admin and organisational skills • Accountability • Teamwork • Integrity • Reliability and consistency • Adaptability • Exceptional communication skills • Creative and passionate • Fashion enthusiast
