We are looking for a diligent Branch Clerk to support the efficient operations of our Northern Cape branch. This role involves managing daily administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with security protocols, and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Administrative Support:
    • Complete and submit daily reports to clients and superiors by the end of each shift.
    • Maintain up-to-date registers and ensure compliance with Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs).
    • Report discrepancies over R50.00, faulty equipment, and consumables to the Branch Manager.
    • Handle queries, incidents, and initial investigation reports.
    • Ensure all relevant documentation is accurate, complete, and properly filed.
  2. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Provide detailed feedback on queries received from the SBSA team.
    • Ensure all daily reports and statistics are accurate and submitted by 16:00 daily.
    • Adhere to the 2-hour rule for report submissions.
    • Provide detailed feedback on stock levels and order placement to the SBSA team every four weeks.
    • Ensure all documentation is complete, neat, and filed daily.
  3. Stationary and Document Management:
    • Ensure timely dispatch of stationary orders to clients (e.g., rubber bands, deposit books, money grips).
    • Manage the filing, archiving, and dispatching of documents to Metro file with correct documentation.
    • Secure footage on the server and provide copies on CD for client distribution.
    • Handover TDCs to the CIT company and submit a proper out list to the SBSA team for daily document delivery and confirmation by 13:00 on Fridays.
  4. Communication and Coordination:
    • Report all incidents to the Branch Manager and Regional CLO by 16:00 daily via email and telephone.
    • Ensure effective communication and accuracy in submitting documents to the SBSA team.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 Certificate
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Good interaction skills, bilingual communication, and negotiation abilities
