Job Position: Data Capturer Ref: 4760 Location: PE/Gqeberha Salary: R12 000 to R15 000 per month CTC commensurate with qualification and experience Email your CV to recruit@onlinepersonnel.co.za Qualifications / Requirements: Minimum of Matric Computer literate Meticulous, fast and accurate worker Fair degree of mathematical ability Good typing skills Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision Able to commence immediately/as soon as possible Key Performance Areas: Educate Freight Forwarders on document requirements Communicate regularly with Freight Forwarders with regards to document queries Escalate long outstanding queries Provide general assistance to Claims Consultants, Operations Manager, Technical Consultant, Customs Specialist and Director as and when required Maintain good relationships with the client’s staff as well as staff at other service providers of the client (i.e. Clearing Agents and Auditors) to ensure a CSI rating of above 90% on consultant’s portfolio Maintain good relationships with internal staff (Capturer/Consultant) Print and capture all export and import, as well as customer and supplier information within the targeted timeframes Assist Claims Consultants with copying and collating all necessary documentation required to support claims Query documents for each client must be kept separately and must be indicated on the register as not yet scanned Assist Claims Consultants in compiling claims for submission to Customs (where applicable) Scanning of documentation in File Director / drive within the required time frame Ensure that the correct drive structure is adhered to All pages to be counted prior to scanning and number of pages to be recorded on the first page of the document pack and checked against the total number of pages on File Director Ensure that scanned copies are legible Filing and archiving (Metrofile) of documents Import and export registers to be kept up to date Ensure that import and export capture check sheets are printed for all claims and reviewed and signed off by the relevant Consultant/Capturer Each import capture check sheet should have a report on imports The report on imports should be checked for variances and these variances should be highlighted / investigated Review capturing for reasonableness and obvious errors before handing over for checking Documents received from clients must be kept in an orderly fashion and must be marked clearly
