Role Summary The Paid Media Specialist is responsible for developing and executing effective paid advertising campaigns on various social media platforms. This role demands a deep understanding of social media advertising, audience targeting, and optimization strategies to maximise return on investment. The specialist will work closely with the marketing and content teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across campaigns. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage paid social media strategies to increase brand visibility, engagement, and conversions across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. Conduct thorough market and audience research to identify trends and insights, using this information to tailor campaigns to specific audience segments. Create and manage ad budgets, ensuring efficient spend while maximising campaign performance and ROI. Design and test ad creatives, including images, videos, and copy, in collaboration with the content and design teams to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. Monitor and analyse campaign performance using social media analytics tools, providing detailed reports on key metrics such as engagement, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI. Optimise campaigns based on performance data, adjusting strategies, targeting, and creatives as necessary to improve results. Stay updated on the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices, continuously refining strategies to leverage new opportunities. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive and integrated marketing approach across all digital channels. Manage relationships with any external agencies or vendors involved in social media advertising. Assist in the development of the overall social media marketing strategy, contributing insights and recommendations based on paid media performance. Skills and Experience Proven experience managing paid social media campaigns, with a strong understanding of different social media advertising platforms and their specific requirements. Proficiency in using social media analytics and advertising tools (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics). Ability to analyse data and derive actionable insights to inform campaign strategies. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create compelling ad copy and visuals. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple campaigns simultaneously with tight deadlines. Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and digital marketing strategies is a plus.
