Junior Level Photographer exists within our clients Marketing/Online department. The position is based in Cape Town. Immediate start. Required Skills & Experience • Proven experience as a photographer and videographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing photography and videography skills. • Proficiency in photography and videography equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting and editing software. • Solid understanding of composition, lighting, and colour theory. • Experience with photo and video editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Light room, Premiere Pro, or similar tools. • Strong creative vision and the ability to bring ideas to life through visual storytelling. • Excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work. • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Duties include the following, but not limited to: Photography – capture high-quality product images that showcase the company’s products in the best possible light. Utilize a variety of photography techniques and equipment to achieve desired results. • Ensure consistency in style, lighting, and composition across all product images. • Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and execute innovative photo concepts. Videography – film and edit engaging video content for use on social media platforms. • Develop creative concepts and storyboards for video projects. • Utilize knowledge of videography techniques, equipment, and software to produce high-quality videos. • Stay up to date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques into video production. Editing – edit product images to enhance their visual appeal and ensure they align with brand standards. • Retouch images as needed to remove imperfections and maintain product accuracy. • Edit video footage to create polished and professional videos that resonate with the company’s target audience. • Collaboration – work closely with the marketing team to understand project objectives and deliver content that meets marketing goals. • Collaborate with other team members to brainstorm ideas, provide creative input, and support cross-functional projects. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure that project requirements and deadlines are met. Salary: R12 000 to R14 000 CTC.
