This position reports into Senior Manager Quality Excellence EMEA and is based in South Africa.

Role reports to: Senior Manager Quality Excellence EMEA

Location: South Africa

What you will do

In this role you will be responsible for coordinating workflows for strategic quality and cross functional initiatives within the region. As a specialist in process excellence, you will also directly contribute to the development of high-quality and effective root cause problem solving and action plans. You will improve the overall root cause problem solving culture and capabilities and work cross functional to drive standardization and best practice on process excellence initiatives. You will pair your operational excellence capabilities with data and analytical skills to generate insights, devise solutions, and build high level cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead data analytics initiatives within the Quality and Compliance department, providing insights and recommendations on key topics such as Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), root cause analyses, investigations, and escalations.
  • Lead Root Cause Problem Solving improvement initiatives to support on the reduction of key issues impacting the business.
  • Manage and analyze data using tools such as SQL, Databricks, Power BI, Power Automate.
  • Coach and mentor colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality and effective root cause problem solving and action plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving processes.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the process excellence, data, and analytics landscape.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for initiatives at hand.
  • Monitor trends, identify issues, recommend, and implement appropriate actions.

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • 4-7 years of experience in Supply Chain or Quality and Compliance.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in STEM.
  • A solid experience in operational process improvement design and implementation initiatives with cross functional engagement.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, including coordination, workshop facilitation, and leadership presentation.
  • Proven track record of leading successful digital initiatives with hands on experience on SQL, Power BI, and Power Automate.
  • Ability to work proactively and in collaboration with multiple stakeholders and partners to deliver solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of the consumer health industry regulatory and compliance landscape including experience in dealing with Quality management system aspects.
  • Ability to identify issues, recommend and implement appropriate actions.
  • Ability to influence and drive alignment across cross functional teams.
