Job Overview: Responsible to drive Sales and Business Development in line with the business strategy Responsibilities and Duties: • Focus on expanding business and generating revenue by building collaborative relationships with customers • Identify and develop opportunity leads to maintain the sales pipeline • Serve as the key alliance for all business-related activities • Develop and drive the strategic relationships and ensure they are in line with SBT’s strategic objectives which include: o Solution identification and development o Sales engagements o Competitive positioning • Lead strategic initiatives across the business • Develop and execute a strategic and tactical sales management plan • Maintain and develop existing customers through high levels of service in order to expand and strengthen the relationship • Maintain superior knowledge of competitor trends • Generate leads and develop new business opportunities through networking • Close liaison with the bid office • Installing of cable support structures such as, cable • Widespread knowledge of Fire, Safety & Security industry in Southern Africa • CCTV (IP and Analogue) • Access Control • Alarm Systems • Electric fencing • Fire Detection and Suppression • Fibre Optic Equipment and networking • Networking design & implementation (LAN & Wireless point to point) • Long distance wireless implementation • Remote off-site monitoring setup, configure IP video system from server to workstations and remote connectivity solution. Qualifications: • Matric Essential • At least 5 years industry related experience - Fire Safety and Security Industry • Experience in landing, deploying and completing large scale projects • Business Development Experience should include: generating leads, creating proposals, conducting sales presentations, • and meeting sales goals • Proven track record of Sales and New Business Development • Minimum – National Diploma in Management, Information Technology / Security Management • Preferred – Degree in Management, Information Technology / Security Management • Relevant Security Industry knowledge • Ability to document complex cabling networks. • Excellent interpersonal skills (with customers, suppliers and team members) • Negotiation Skills • Networking Skills • Project Management Skills • People Management Skills • Resilient • Deadline orientated with composure to work under pressure • Ability to work effectively and efficiently • Good verbal and written communication skills • Honest and reliable • Punctual, Accurate and Strong attention to detail • Strong interpersonal skills (with customers, suppliers and team members) • Project Management • System Design • Driving performance • Organising • Providing direction & clarity • Innovation
